Colchester Operatic Society

Colchester Operatic Society, founded in 1924, is one of the region's oldest amateur musical theatre companies and a registered charity. The society produces a main show each year running for two weeks at the Mercury Theatre, plus a summer concert at venues in and around Colchester. There are opportunities to get involved on stage and behind the scenes — acting, singing, dancing, backstage crew, costume, props and production. New members are always welcome.
